Water-Soluble Protection for Surgical Instruments

LUB 980 is a concentrated lubricant designed to extend the life of medical and surgical instruments by reducing friction on moving parts such as hinged instruments and box locks. Ideal for manual and automated re-processing of medical and surgical instruments, particularly for hinged instruments and box locks.

Preparation and Usage:

• Prepare a Milk Bath Solution: Mix 1 part LUB 980 with 6 parts of water.

• Standard dilution: 16ml of LUB 980 per 1 litre of water.

• Lubrication Process: Ensure instruments are opened before dipping.

• Dip instruments in the solution for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

• Post-Lubrication: Remove instruments from the bath.

• Do not wipe or rinse off the lubricant.

• Proceed directly with sterilization packaging.
